Mocombo‘s 6th CD release ‘Global 360‘ features single release ‘Bob Marley Moment‘.
Well known Jamaican dub rapper Sugar D re-recorded ‘Bob Marley Moment’ in a Negril, Jamaica recording studio with Danny Mott.
The dub version entlitled ‘Into The Future’ received critical acclaim scoring a top ten in Jamaica.
Universal themes permeate the yrical content of the album while the music landscape
supplies a steady variety of urban styles and challenging topics for the listener to dine
upon. There are plenty of mindful topics and heartful pleas that will resonate deep in
the heart of the listener.
‘Global 360‘ features some of Canada‘s vertern musicians including Mike Yurich on
guitars and keyboards. Vocals and bass by Danny Mott. Writers include Danny Mott,
Mike Yurich and Ed Wilson who co-wrote ‘Into the Inarticulate‘; an innovative musical
collage in the Musique Concrète style. Additional musicians include producer Mark Gouph, guitarist Rusty McCarthy, Catherine Tado and Kyle McKey on the production of ‘Louisiana‘
and Cubanadian electric guitarist Elmer Ferrer.
